Eric Layton - Inker on DDP run.

Ben Templesmith - He is certainly better known for his work on 30 Days of Night, but he produced a variant cover for IDW's G.I. JOE #0 (2008), did two different covers for G.I. JOE Origins # 12, and pencilled, inked, and colored that same issue of Origins. You can also find his work on the covers of Cobra #s 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.
Herb Trimpe - A legendary artist in the world of comics, Herb Trimpe pencilled Marvel's A Real American Hero #s 1, 3, 50 ("Best Defense"), and 99, pencilled and cowrote #s 4, 6, and 7, pencilled and wrote #s 8 and 119, and provided the covers for #s 1, 2, 7, and 14. He also pencilled twenty-five issues of G.I. JOE: Special Missions (all except #s 22, 24, and 27), drew the covers for #s 12 and 23, and wrote #24. He pencilled "Trade-Offs" in G.I. JOE Yearbook #4 and provided the book's cover. He pencilled all four issues of the G.I. JOE and the Transformers miniseries and drew the covers for #s 1 and 2. Since IDW relaunched A Real American Hero, he has done covers for #s 161, 162, 163, 165, 166, 168, 169, 170, 171, 172, 173, 174, 176, 177, and 178. His pencils also appear in this year's G.I. John 'Waki' Wycough - Inker on IDW's G.I. JOE.
Update 06/12/2012: Mike Zeck - Wait, what? The Mike Zeck? The definitive G.I. JOE cover artist Mike Zeck? The Mike Zeck who never does cons anymore? Yep! He'll be at HeroesCon on Saturday only, so I'll be setting aside all other goals for that day to get my copy of Yearbook #3 (already autographed by Larry Hama) signed.
Don't forget to stop by and grab a plush doll or two from the Handmade Stuffs table (AA-125, where I'll be hanging out for much of the three days) and some adorkable art from Beck Seashols (AA-338).
And the non-JOE comics guest list? It's also ridiculously impressive, featuring Bernie Wrightson, Mike Mignola, Ed McGuinness, Paul Levitz, George Pérez, Cat Staggs, Allison Sohn, Jamal Igle, Stephanie Buscema, Cully Hamner, and many, many more. Oh, and one Mr. Stan Lee will also be there. I hear he's kind of a big deal.
Check out the complete HeroesCon guest list, and prepare for the only Charlotte convention that really matters in 2012.
